I said "I like music from Elvis to Norah Jones...". Well, I could have just as well said  "from Jerry Lee Lewis to Norah Jones...". Jerry and Elvis were born in the same year and both got famous at around 1956 and 1957 as Rock 'n ' Roll stars.

The black guy in "Great Balls of Fire" was Chuck Berry, who was a pioneer in Rock 'n' Roll music, just like Jerry and Elvis. He composed "Rock and Roll Music" back in 1957.
