They say California is a great place to live.
I don't doubt that the least bit.
It's got pleasant weather, besides all other good stuff.
I'd once met a family from California, on a flight to Hawaii.
The father said Hawaii was so nice that they, the whole family, parents plus two teenager kids, went there for vacation once every year.
So Hawaii is even better.
And it's so hot here in Texas.
Maybe sun maybe snow, maybe hot maybe cold...
But the greatest place isn't California or Hawaii.
Lots of people in California and Hawaii are miserable.
Nor is it Taiwan, Hong Kong, Europe or Australia.
The greatest place on earth is any place where you truly feel happy.
