C told me the other day as we were walking around the campus he thought that

those who are altruistic go for Bach,

those who are self-possessed prefer Beethoven,

those who feel good about themselves like Mozart, and

those who think they aren't good enough listen to Chopin.

Good observation. I'd like to add that Beethoven's music also reveals a self-centered personality.
