In all honesty one must say there were some dull moments in the second half of "Life Of Pi".
But overall it's a good film.
Like I said, there weren't many good movies produced in 2012.
Or else Argo wouldn't have been Best Picture and Ang Lee Best Director in this year's Oscar Awards.
I happened to have watched both movies. So I know.
