【劇情介紹】
傑米(傑克葛倫霍飾)是個俊俏又意氣風發的輝瑞藥廠威而鋼業務，
是個萬人迷，梅姬(安海瑟薇飾)是一名不受拘束的貌美藝術家，
在《愛情與靈藥》飾演身患帕金森病的角色，
本來想在病重之前“潇灑”過完一生，
但卻遇見了販賣偉哥的藥品販子傑克·吉倫哈爾，
二人爲了偉哥還鬧出不少笑話，
劇情也由苦情戲變成浪漫喜劇片。
當兩人相遇，一時天雷勾動地火，令他們必須正視彼此的未來，
傑米猶豫著是否要向梅姬表白自己的愛意，
而梅姬的帕金森症也一步步侵蝕著她的身體，
他們彼此不斷告訴自己千萬不要愛上對方，但還是愛上了。
梅姬和傑米兩人發現自己中了最可怕的癮頭，也就是愛情。
多數人的戀情都是由愛而性，
這對卻正好相反，也因此有別於傳統的愛情故事。
片中處處可見藥廠輝瑞的（Pfizer）的Logo，藥品療效，
傑克葛倫霍又飾演帥氣迷人的輝瑞業務，
讓本片宛如輝瑞形象廣告的延伸。
但是電影改編的原著小說，卻主要是揭發藥品業務的行業內幕，
包括藥品代表、護士甚至醫生之間的陋習。
由最初在輝瑞擔任藥品業務的傑米
親自踢爆銷售員的高薪厚職背後的糜爛生活，
包括欺詐出勤紀錄、醜惡的自用藥品等問題，
他更因為出書而被藥廠辭退。
導演艾德華茲維克完全淡化這個嚴肅題材，
卻以安海瑟薇和傑克葛倫霍兩人片中有多場激情演出作為賣點，
將本片改裝成愛情片，美國人濫用藥物習慣，
藥廠和醫生的勾結等等議題都避重就輕，
又是一部好萊塢將嚴肅議題簡單化、媚俗化，
並被大企業行銷置入成功的影片。
