Also watched his "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and "In the Heat of the Night", the same year in Taipei. All 3 were released in 1967 and all touched on the racial issue. 60s...Civil Movement, Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis, Missle Crisis, Kennedy Assasination, Beatles, Vietnam War, hippies, campus unrests, anti-war rallies, riot police, Bob Dylan, Women's Lib, landing on moon...a dizzying decade in US. |
