%%- No sooner had I talked about Linda Carter in my 2007/05/19 journal entry than she appeared in a TV interview this past week. At 55, she still has that very sweet smile 30 years ago in "Wonder Woman".
%%- Paul Simon was awarded the First Annual Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by Library of Congress which celebrated Simon's musical achievements with an all-star gala concert on May 23, in Washington, DC, which was broadcast on PBS June 27.
Not aware of that, I was channel surfing when I caught the latter part of the program.
Towards the end of the concert Simon appeared. He immediately invited Garfunkel out and they performed "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Then he performed together with an African singing group, and then with Stevie Wonder, and finally, he did a solo.
He didn't try to grab the spotligh at all when singing with others. A truly great but modest artist.
